Thanks that was fun.

I was a little scared to take this cause I'm also a first-timer and I saw some people who have already had babies didn't do so well, but I'll give it a shot.

Well, not so great- a 60%, but still three points above the average. Got the first 5 right but lost it in the second half (thought I had read someone else say the size of an avocado at 15 weeks).

I can't believe I only got 40%!!!! That's probably from being 26 weeks with # 4

Kelli Sue,

Even though it may be possible to distinguish a boy from a girl through ultrasound, I've heard stories from people who were told one gender throughout pregnancy only to be surprised upon the baby's birth. Sometimes if the baby is positioned at a certain angle the umbilical cord can be mistaken for something else. I guess this means ultrasounds are not 100% definitive. Even when doctors or US techs make a gender prediction, they usually leave some room for error (they predict the gender, for example, with 84 percent or 92 percent

That is exactly why the answer was "not until birth" for how soon can you definitely tell the baby's sex by ultrasound.

The main one I had a quarrel with was the baby being the size of a softball. Depending on the kind of avocado, to me it seems the baby at that point is closer to
