Kickin up a storm

Okay, now it's really getting cool. The baby was kicking up a major storm tonight as I sat in a meeting. It was the first time I could feel the kicks from the outside. Can't wait to feel more.

Yay for feeling kicks! I know you were a bit concerned about not feeling strong movement yet. From here on out they'll get stronger and stronger. the last few weeks I couldn't help but thinking it felt like this little guy was trying to kick and claw his way out, LOL! Just wait 'til he starts kicking/hitting your bladder. Ugh, not a good feeling... But enjoy this phase while lasts.

Think he's been doing that for a while, or at least likes to lean right on it. I think your little guy is more than ready to come into the world!

Yay! I knew it would come!!!

My little man loves to stand on my bladder...sometimes it is so painful.

And he loves to play tricks on me! I can feel him all the time, but the minute I try to move Mary Catherine or Benjamin's hands so that they can feel him...he stops! AAARGH! LOL

Baby boy has been particularly active today. Actually saw my belly moving-- too cool!!! Sorry, to those of you for whom this is old hat, I'm a first-timer.

No need to apologize! Just last week I was lying on the love seat while Anthony was lying on the couch across the room and I told him to watch my stomach. Baby boy was going absolutely crazy in there and my whole stomach was movin' around. I know a lot of women love to feel their LO's moving around but for me, it feels....I don't know, wierd, almost alien-like, LOL! But I remember being pregnant with Lilah (our first daughter) and being in awe just as you are now. It really is a miracle, isnt' it?

Okay, this little one (or not so little anymore) remains active, but this morning I felt something a little disconcerting. My belly started to vibrate, like his whole body was shaking in there, for almost a minute. I was worried he was having a seizure. I looked it up and read a lot of other women have experienced this during pregnancy, but people gave different reasons for the cause of it. I definitely think it was more than just hiccups-- too much vibration for that. Anyway, he's back to his normal movements now but I was curious whether some of you have also experienced this and whether you knew what it is.
