My pregnancy was confirmed today with a blood test.

I'm probably 16 dpo, progesterone- 79.8; hCG - 280). So, so far; so good!

I already have one lovely baby, Simone, born January 7, 2002. (I weaned her on December 31, 2002.)

It seems that my due date is December 6, 2003. But I know from experience that it's highly unlikely that this will actually be "the" day.

I have lurked here a bit in recent months. Now I hope to get to know you all in the coming months.

Ottawa, Canada

PS I will turn 41 in about a week. Also, believe it or not, my FSH levels in January and February this year were 16 and 17. I guess my RE will be scratching his head trying to figure out how I got pregant.

Congratulations Heidi, and happy "pre" birthday to you!!! I hope that you find a lot of support and information on this board. I certainly have. We all go through the same tests and similar experiences. Even though I visit other boards, I always come back to this one to spend time with "peers". I am 41, and am due to have my little girl the middle of August. I have an 11 yr old son and am newly married. So far, this pregnancy is actually easier than the one with my son, and time is flying. I have gotten through most of the test that I decided to do because of my "advanced maternal age": amnio, level 2, and now I am experiencing the typical worries of a woman having a baby. This 2nd trimester is easier than the first, and in a few weeks I will be in my 3rd. Wow! Anyway, congratulations and good luck. It's good to have you here.
