Hi Everyone. This looks like a great site! It's so comforting to know that I'm not alone. I'm 41 & found out yesterday that I'm pregnant. This will be my first baby. I will be 42 1/2 when the baby is born. I'm definitely trusting God on this one. Just wanted to say hello; going to read all of your posts. Looking forward to talking & sharing with all of you.

Thanks,

Hannah

Hi Hannah! Congratulations!! I am 42 and pregnant for the first time, so I was very excited to see your post. I want to tell everyone, but of course, I will wait until after the first trimester. This is very exciting. When are you due?? I am due at the end of November.
Hope to chat!

Hi Punkin. Thanks for the welcome. My baby will be born 6 months after my 42nd birthday. I'm so happy I found this site. We are all going through this together. It helps so much to know that we are not in this alone & that there are many over 40's & pregnant.

Talk soon,

Donna

Hi Robin! Great to meet you. I'm still in shock that I'm really pregnant. I have lost a few pregnancies over the past 20 years.

I too want to tell everyone but I'm waiting with most people. I don't want to go tell everyone & then miscarry.

The emotion that I feel the most is peace. This pregnancy is making me feel solemn & serene. Of course I'm very happy too. My husband is beside himself. He has one child. A 12 year old son which we have custody of. He & his first wife tried for 11 years to have him. They had him through test tube. So my husband is so happy about this pregnancy & baby.

My period was due on March 23. I believe I got pregnant around the 9th of March. I haven't been to the doctor yet so don't know a due date. I'm probably approx 15 days pregnant. I took the p test on the 19th, 4 days before my period was due, & the test picked it up quick & very visible. It was the double bars type test. Two lines = pregnant.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

P.S. Are we supposed to use our real names or fake names on here?

I love that you feel peace, it warmed my heart when I read that. I am normally an anxious person, but ever since I found out I was pregnant, I have felt no anxiety, and I think "at peace" is what I am feeling too. Wow. How nice is that. I have moments of pure bliss too. My husband is on his second marriage too and we have 50% custody of his two kids ages 11 and 14. We decided not to tell them until after the 12 week mark. My husband is excited, but a bit nervous of the kids reactions. Have you told your stepson? I love how excited your husband is...very sweet. Life is grand!

Smiles, Robin

PS I don't think it matters what name you use...whatever you are comfortable with.
