Hello, Barbara, and welcome! Congratulations! How exciting to be expecting your first after TTC for so long! I'm Joan, am 42, and am pregnant with #3. We have two young girls, a five year old and a two year old; this one is a boy who is due in May. I'm glad you introduced yourself and am looking forward to hearing about your pregnancy as you progress. How have you been feeling? Any MS yet? Exhaustion? I hope you're feeling well. Best wishes and lots of sticky baby vibes to you. Congrats again!
Congratulations! So very happy for you. This is such a scary and yet exciting time. Sending you lots of sticky baby vibes!
My name is Valerie, I am 40 and I am expecting #3. Baby is due within a couple of weeks of my 41st birthday.
I have had a long and tumultuous history with infertility, but am excited to say that I have 1 in vitro baby (now age 5) and 1 bonus baby (now age 3). Baby #3 is also a bonus baby!
Incredibly, I have had more successful pregnancies AFTER age 35 than before. Ha!
Again, congrats. I look forward to getting to know you better,
I was completely blown away by my NT scan. What a difference between that and the US I had done in week 6 (early, I know), which was just a black sac with a few white specs in the middle. By 13 wks 4 days, when I had my NT scan, what a difference! I won't give details because I don't want to spoil the surprise. I actually think the machine they used for my NT scan was higher resolution than the one used for my 18+ wk US yesterday, but it was still fun to get another peek and learn it's close to definite I'm having a boy. I had that feeling ever since my NT scan anyway, even though I started this journey without any real preference either way. But once I saw what looked like boy to me, I got kind of stuck on the idea. Of course, I would be thrilled with either as long as the baby arrives safely.
