It's fun to connect with baby via their kicks and punches. At full term now, I don't know how she has room, but my LO will have several active periods where she's just dancing up a storm. Though my belly isn't doing the wavy thing due to her rolling and turning like it was just a month ago - that was pretty funny.

Sounds great, Molly. Swallowed a volleyball..hee hee. I am 17 weeks and just look fat! I have the name Erica on my list as well (assuming I have a girl in there, that is).
How come they could not tell you the gender earlier? Isn't it commonly done between 18 and 20 weeks? I will find out mine on August 23 (almost 19 weeks) and am dying to know. Makes it much easier to fight with your DH over names when you know what it is, lol.

Yes, technically I could have (and should have) had my 2nd ultrasound by now (to check on things and discover baby's sex), but getting an app't for that here in the USA was too expensive so I am waiting until we go back to Europe to do it. Two more weeks of fun here, then the second ultrasound will be on Sept. 2!! Bonus, DH will come with me that day!!

Hey Molly, I won't pay for a U/S if I can get it for free...having kids is expensive enough! It's nice to have hubby there too. Oh well, hopefully baby will be very cooperative on Sept 2 so you can see. I am dying to know about you too!

Aren't those kicks the best? Towards the end, he was running out of space and the kicks gave way to lumps protruding at all kinds of strange angles. I'm sure one of those lumps was his butt, cause he loves to lie all bunched up sticking his butt out now.
I also had a variation of that name, Andreo, on my short list. Sounds like a nice choice.
