40 wks 6 dys and still no baby !

This little guy doesn't want to join our family yet. All went well at yesterdays appt I had a NST,u/s and exam. I have the ok to keep trying for this baby to come naturally.

I'm still hoping for a vbac but the baby hasn't dropped and contractions are still next to nothing. I'm still only dilated 1 1/2 cent.

I can't believe that it will be June 1st and this baby that was originaly due on 5/17 still isn't here!

Oh well...keep your fingers crossed that this baby heads south soon, before my time runs out. Scheduled for c/s 6/6.

Is this your first baby? First babies tend to be late, according to everyone I know! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Good Luck and let us know when he arrives.

Were your other 2 late like this?

thank you, yes my other 2 were 10 & 14 days past my EDD. My 1st cooperated more by a pretty normal labor but the 2nd had to be induced and then had slow/no progress issues and infection so had to have a c/s.

I'm trying to still believe this will happen vbac but ultimately which way my baby should arrive healthly is all I'm asking for. I just remember how horrible the recovery was from the c/s and to have a 18 month old to deal w/ along w/ a newborn is just a bit overwhelming. But I'm also trying to think that this next c/s won't be as bad as the first and I'll survive!

I´m keeping my finger´s crossed that your little one will decide to come out on his own as soon as possible.

My baby is due tomorrow and nothing is happening yet, either.

Good luck Cathey and be sure to let us know how everything goes for you and baby.

Wishing for a healthy delivery for you sooner rather than later, Julie
