Hello, I just got a call from the specialist who informs me I have a positive test, with a 1:10 risk for DS and 1:97 risk for trisomy.

Sorry about the worrying news! I am pregnant with a daughter who has trisomy 18. We found out from an amnio - fish results are 98% accurate. I was too far along for the test you had. Please let us know the results. Hugs to you at this time.

Did you get positive results just from the NT, or are the results also based on

The Dr says it was a combined result, but i believe it is mostly blood.

Jacie, I'm sorry they gave you worrying numbers. My doctor has often reminded me that it is only a screening, if that helps. I have never had an amnio or CVS, but I found out at birth that my third child had DS. It was truly a shock, so I know what you are going through. You will be in my prayers.

Hi, My NT was .62 for gestational age, by my PAPP-A was only .2 which is what made the risk so high.
