Excellent news, Laura!

I've gleaned from other posts of yours that you are a few weeks ahead of me both with DD Emma and with #2 and that we are the same age. In addition, you are a runner and a hiker, just like me! Have you stopped running yet? I ran for 22 weeks with DD Anna, then switch to walking up to 100 km per week, right up to the day before she was born. This time, however, at 17 weeks, I think I may have to stop running already since i am much bigger than last time and get pains when i run more than a few hundred metres...walking is fine, though...

Yes, it is tough, isnt it! I was training for a marathon that will take place in a couple of weeks too when i fell pregnant...but I was able to keep walking 2 or 3 hours a day all through my last pregnancy and hope to find time to walk, if not that much but still alot this time too. DD naps in the afternoon and when I am not at work I walk 12 every afternoon with her asleep in the pushchair.

I have gained weight far more quickly in this pregnacy too. I hope that doesnt mean that I'll gain more overall, although with breastfeeding it'll go quickly again. I'll see if my doctor suggests I stop trying to run - if everything is ok he wont, because he is a runner too...but i know my days are numbered because
