I was due on may 13th but went into labor on the 7th and little Micah ws born on the 8th at 8:30 a.m. Labor was hard because he was face up. ^Thanks again to the preg after 40 board.

I thought I would post more information. I was holding the baby and trying to attach the pictures and well you know how that goes.
I'm Lisa and I live in Texas, the Dallas/Ft Worth area. I'm 41-married with children ages 18- graduating in June, a 10yr. old and a 6 year old. When I found out I was pregnant it was a complete surprise.
The baby was born healthy at 7 pds and 11 oz. As for me I'm trying to regroup after giving birth. Its been a week so I'm getting there. This will be my last pregnancy. Good luck to you who are still TTC or have conceived.
If you have delivered which board are you going to or would recommend to discuss new born baby issues . Is there a after 40 board for new moms to discuss issues that might effect older moms?

Hi Dyan
Im adjusting to motherhood once again. I had a bout with the baby blues.
It started about at the 2 week point . Couldnt sleep even when the baby
was asleep. I started getting anxious and calle my doc. She wanted me to take meds.
But I had never felt this with my other kids. So I prayed about it
and it went away. All within about 4 days. NO meds taken. Now im getting plenty of sleep and just
excited about my new guy. Im staying at home so everything is all good.
I even lost about 30 pounds already. Couldnt eat for a minute when baby blues
hit.

IM glad the blues went away having to take meds suck!!! Not that I take any... but if I had to take them to save my life I would be dead... I am a terrible pill taker I never can remember them.. probably why I have so many kids LOL
