well guys ,ive decided to not do the v-bac and go forward with the section that is scedualed for march 9th.


ive had it,i dont want to worry the whole time also if my uterus is ripping.......and to be able to plan a little souds pretty good.and did i mention..... im done! i have a really bad pain in my right buttock every time i walk that i just cant work/stretch out.and dh and i are both massage therapist,i suppose its iliosiatic joint. im trying my hardest NOT

I, too, was relieved to be having a c-section and not a vbac. In my case, the hospital evidently has a policy against vbacs, so I didn't have to fret over the choice. I had thought about requesting a repeat C from the get-go, and then I had all of this vbac guilt from others... Sheesh!

I still have a while to go - April 20 - but at least I have my date. I am starting my maternity leave right after Easter, so I was actually giddy on Ash Wednesday - 40 more days!

I chose to have a VBAC and it was the absolute best decision I could have made.

Good for you! I am glad you have a decision that you are comfortable with...that is the most important thing, sorry you are having aches and pains!


BTW the baby's room is beautiful :-) I love the lamb......
