Wow, you've officially hit the 1/2 way mark! Congratulations! And congrats on having a boy, too. I bet once your girls see their new baby brother they'll immediately fall in love with him. Who can resist loving a newborn baby??? I hope you're feeling well and aren't too exhausted. I have about eight more weeks to go and boy, I'm ready to have this baby! Be well and please keep us posted on how you're feeling, etc..

Congratulations! Of course, I'm sure you'd be happy either way. It's also great that everything looks good. My results were similar, except I've felt the baby was a boy ever since my NT scan. I had this US a little early, at 18 wks 4 days, and I was worried they still may not be able to make a strong gender prediction, especially at first when the baby was lying on his belly with his legs tucked together underneath him. But then he opened wide and gave us a good shot (I'm a little disappointed they didn't print that one out for me, though).

Anyway, glad everything's progressing well with you too.

Carol...

Congrats!!! Seems like a lot of folks around here are carrying baby boys! I guess Michelle is having a girl!

We have our big u/s this Monday (29th) and I can't wait to find out. My peri scheduled it later so that he could get a good luck at the soft-tissue markers since we had the blood work come back elevated risk for DS.

It is such a relief to hit that 20-week mark! I'll be 21-weeks tomorrow...seems like time is really flying now!

Take care,
Val

Hi Susan,
Sounds like you are doing well. NST is non-stress testing. Basically they hook the baby up to a monitor and I have to sit in a recliner and push a button every time I feel the baby move. The baby's heartrate should go up when it moves. For me the NST is actually a nice relaxing time away from my other 6, lol!

I am just feeling this baby move more this week. Apparently I have an anterior placenta or as the tech said, it's like having a pillow against the wall of your uterus--between you and the baby. So it is harder to feel the baby moving.
