Ok little Mikey, was walking with his bottle and fell.. I wasnt home daddy was watching him, and he was going to bring his bottle over to him and he TRIPPED..

now he only has one tooth on the top of his mouth.. the other is gone, we couldnt find the tooth either.. So he either ate it.. or it got jammed back inside his mouth (which can happen) if he lost the tooth then we have to get a spacer put in to hold the teeth open so he wont ruin his adult teeth if its jammed back inside his gums then it will eventually come back in.. I am hoping for that! we took him to the local urgent care but they couldnt xray him.. so on friday he will go in and see the dentist..

My poor little toothless boy.

My Gracie knocked out her tooth about a year ago. We were worried about the space too but our dentist said that it isn't a problem and it hasn't been.

Hello everyone,

Just got back from the dentist... his tooth is still there, its been pushed back up inside his mouth, it will come back down in a few months.. We are so happy that it wont be missing!!

Thank you everyone who responded!

Oh Dyan, I wish I had seen this post earlier because exactly the same happened to a friend's baby and it simply grew out again a few weeks later! He was also told breaking a milk tooth is mainly a problem for the development of speach, so as long as they can stick something onto a nbroken tooth, all should end well...

I'm glad there was a happy ending to this story!
