Joan, so glad to see you here and know little Joey is now safely with you. But you poor thing... you're scaring me a little. I hope to God my epidural will take.
Don't have time to respond to everything right now, but just wanted to say welcome back and congratulations. Enjoy that sweet little boy. Can't wait to have mine in my arms too.
Thank you for sharing your story!! Sounds like you did a great job. Very happy for you!!
Welcome back Joan!
Sorry about the difficult birth. I had my first birth without an epidural with #5 and I was induced because my water broke and I didn't go into labor. (They wouldn't wait very long!) It was really awful. It is so much different when you have to be induced. Last baby was born in a hotel with a midwife with no interventions and I only had one uncomfortable contraction! It was amazing.
I am so glad that you and the baby are healthy and doing well now. That's what really matters. You will eventually forget the labor, believe it or not!
Enjoy that little boy bundle and rest, rest, rest!

Welcome back, Joan!
Thanks so much for sharing your birth story...I so enjoy reading these...the good, the bad, the ugly, etc. b/c I have never got to experience labor! I have to live vicariously thru the rest of you!!! LOL
And guess what...I've already informed my OB that she will be performing my tubal ligation during my c-section...since she's gonna be down there and all! :)
Take care and post pics when you can!
