I agree with Melanie-keep your feet up all weekend & just try to be calm. The brown spotting alone should be nothing to worry about-but we all know the stress it causes. Also-try to drink tons & tons of water. If you feel like you are going to float away that's a good thing. You will be in my prayers.
I spotted with all my live babies and didn't with my three angel babies...kinda ironic but it happens to a lot women. The fact that it's brown is good and it's probably just where the little bean was borrowing in and attaching, which happens for weeks after the inital implantation. Your uterus is very vascular and full of blood (sorry to be graphic), at least the tissues in there are so when the placenta is attaching to new areas, sometimes you'll spot. My angel babies just didn't stick, no spotting at all until I miscarried and then it was no spotting but like AF all of the sudden. And symptoms come and go throughout the first trimester because a lot of that is dependent on progesterone which varies drastically, even in the course of an hour it can go up and down quite a bit. That's why if you're on progestone suplements, you'll actually feel pregnant, with the sore BB's and sleepiness even if you're not pg. I never have good symptoms plus my boobs aren't really firm if you know what I mean so they don't get too sore if they swell because there's plenty of room for swelling.
I'm keeping you in my prayers and I'm sure all is well. Please keep us updated and try to relax, even though I know I didn't until...well, he's three months old and I'm still freaked out!!
Like the others have posted, brown spotting is OLD blood. Symptoms do come and go alot early on so try not to worry (easier said than done sometimes when you are a member of this board). I hope you got in to see your dr today to reassure you. Drink lots of water, keep your feet up and let DH pamper you.
Let us know how things go. I'll be thinking of you this weekend and sending you ~~calming sticky baby vibes~~
Katie, sweetie, I'm saying lots and lots of prayers for you. I hope this is nothing more than old blood finding it's way out. Please keep us updated and know that you have positive thoughts and prayers coming from across the sea.
You are in my prayers as well. I am thinking on positive thoughts and sending TONS of SBVs your way. I just found out that I am PG again and I am scared to death. I know my body so well that I pretty much knew I was PG this time around well before I could test...and when I had my MC in April I just knew something was wrong and low and behold I started to cramp and bleed red. They say spotting and changes to symptoms is nothing to be concerned about but I am concerned about every little thing I feel or notice. God bless you and best of luck in the coming weeks. Looking forward to going full term with you on this one. H&H9

Thank you all so much.
Katie - I remember when I was at either 5.5 or 6 weeks, my bbs soreness went away completely.
