Hello! Just wondering how everyone is doing. Haven't seen any new posts in this section in awhile. I'm still doing good. Hope that you are all feeling well, physically and emotionally.
Will be 8 weeks tomorrow! I am so grateful and excited that things are progressing so well, I just hope and pray that things continue to go great. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this pregnancy and to getting a chance to meet my baby. I've been feeling crummy, but I'm glad to feel that way if baby is okay. I have a urinary infection. Started yesterday. I get the kind that hurt too! I ran a bit of fever earlier, but now I'm on an antibiotic. I also took some Tylenol, so hopefully I'll feel better soon. BB's hurt off and on; they hurt the worst at night. M/S comes and goes. And burping and gas happen a lot. I'm really tired too. Seems like sometimes I feel just fine, and other times I feel more terrible than I can imagine! It'll all be worth it in the end though. My next drs. appt. is in 3 weeks. I'm just trying to take it easy and keep up with life and school.
Take care,

Hi Summer (and All),
Sorry to hear you're uncomfortable with a UI. I hope it clears up soon. Happy to hear about your pg symptoms - sounds like you're going strong. I agree that it's all worth it in the end if our little beans are healthy and happy.
BTW:Thanks for your query, you can read my u/s update- titled "On cloud nine."
I'm really happy to have seen our baby move and I'm starting to get optomistic. Could this one actually stick? At the same time I'm worried I'm overly confident from my appointment high. I mean I'm only 10wks on Friday. When do you know when to give in and let yourself "breathe"- 12wk? 14wk? 20wk???? It's probably different for everyone, but I was just wondering what you're telling yourself.

Hi Summer,
Thanks for asking. I had my first u/s today. Looks good so far, only 6w3d, but so far so good. BUT my chances are very slim so I have to take it one week at a time. I can't get too excited since so much can still go wrong. In my case, I have had 6 losses, 1 DD and I'm 39. I have a very slim chance with all my "issues" that I'll carry to term. The good news is that I'm NOT SICK. I'm typically so sick by now and I feel pretty good. So at least if things don't work out I won't have suffered in the mean time. HOPEFULLY it stays that way. I feel ok with everything though. Not too much I can do and it's out of my control. It's my last try so I've prepared myself for the worst.
Of course I have some hope or I wouldn't be here.
I'm so happy to see so many ladies doing so well. Having a baby was truly the greatest gift of my life. I'm so thankful just to have my DD.
Have a great evening.

Hey Summer, it's good to hear that things are going so well for you! Things are going pretty well here, too. My ms comes and goes, but that's not stressing me out too much. I think I'm doing okay even without a lot of symptoms, so long as I'm not spotting.
I somehow managed to clean my entire house this week - ALL THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN AT THE SAME TIME! In my life I'm not sure I've ever pulled that off (I'm more of a working/school mom than a SAHM). So now we're just relaxing and playing board games with my 8 year old daughter, Riana. In fact, she won her first game of monopoly tonight! She is delighted!
Well, I'm gonna go - I'm baking a chocolate lava cake.
Misty
(Homer Simpson's voice)- Ummmmm chocolate lava cake!!!
Don't exactly know what that is. Perhaps a moist bunt cake with fudgy center oozing out all over the place??? (drooling)
Capri :-)
