Hey girls, I have been quickly checking in and lurking lately - starting to finally feel a little energy again now that I am just about 12 wks (yay!).

I started out about 40 lbs overweight so i really have not wanted to weigh myself the last 2+ months.

Hi Michelle,

I haven't had that "problem ;-)" this pg, but i did with my last. When I asked my dr about it he said that it is not uncommon for some women to lose weight- especially in the first Tri. Your body is going through a lot preparing for your little one. All that energy spent on positive prep could be the cause. If you're worried talk to your dr and get the scoop first hand.

BTW: Congrats on the twelve week mark. I can't wait to be there myself.

Hi, I too lost some weight or gained none.

I am significantly overweight. I had a m/c in Dec. When I went for my last dr. appt. with that pregnancy, I weighed 8 pounds more than I did at my doctor's appt. last week. I got pregnant immediately after the m/c, so I must've lost some weight with this one. I've been eating better. So this is good news. I don't think that we have anything to worry about! I count it a blessing! I expect that I'll make up for it later.
