Yesterday we went in for our 7wk appointment(i was 6wks 6days). Well they found ANOTHER SAC WITH HEARTBEAT!!! We were completely shocked and very upset at first. I was starting to consider selective reduction but just can't do it. There are three little heartbeats in there and those are the children we have been praying for over 3yrs now. God has decided to bless us three times and we are just going to go with and pray that everything turns out good. All I could do was cry(not in a good way either) I was very upset! Now that it's sunk in and I've seen how our families have reacted(friends too) we won't be without help. We misunderstood at first and thought the lady said that Baby C was 3wks smaller than Baby's A&B but when the nurse called this afternoon to check on me and see how things were going I mentioned something about it and asked her what the chances the baby had of making it she informed me that the sac was much smaller but the actual baby inside the sac measured 6wks so it was only 6days behind and that was perfectly fine. They made a follow up appointment for me to come in on Monday 3/21 for another u/s and b/w check then on 3/29 for me to come in and meet with the RE. I asked why we needed to do that and we will be 9wks pregnant and will be released to a high risk ob at UAB in Birmingham. All the nurses were SHOCKED! This office with all the patients they have know people by name! It's amazing how caring and supportive they are. They were concerned today because I had been bleeding over the weekend and were asking me if everything was ok this morning and I told them we found out there was 1 more and they were SHOCKED! They said you didn't do IVF or IUI did you? I said nope just timed intercourse and took the shots. They were amazed and acted like it was very rare. I just hope everything goes ok and the babies are safe and healthy. I am not worried anymore I feel really blessed and if it is meant for me to have these babies then I will. I am just going to pray because that is all I can do. I don't think selective reduction is a bad thing it would be very helpful and we would've been doing it if there were more than 3 but we just couldn't do it because the risk of losing all three goes up 12.5% where as just having 3 I will go into labor early we know but we should go until 28-32wks which we realize they'd have to stay in the hospital for awhile if they were born before 30wks but we are praying that we'll make it to 32wks. So there is the latest news. I also asked the nurse to be sure that there couldn't be anymore she said no because I only had two completely mature eggs and 1 was at 16.5(normal maturity is 18mm) obviously it released and fertilized anyway. Well, please keep us in your prayers and say some prayers for these babies that they will all be alright!
Thanks

OMG, how amazing is that! I can't imagine how shocked I would be. I know you're excited and terrified at the same time.
I have known several couples who have had triplets, and while it was a little scary at the end, it all worked out great and the babies are healthy and thriving.
I wish you the best and know that we are here for you every step of the way.

CONGRATULATIONS!
I can only imagine how scared you must be, but yes!
Wow!!! How exciting but certainly understand it's scary too. I think I would have reacted the same as you. It will present a challange to you in your pg but just keep reminding yourself that woman have delivered twice as many with no problems.
Well now we have to send you EVEN MORE grow baby grow vibes.....hang in there....is there a board for pg with triplets? looks like you could use some support from ladies who've been there.....done that.
So much good luck and prayers coming your way....grow babies grow.....Karen
Wow Congratulations!! I am sure that your minds are racing. I am glad you have alot of support. I am going to send lots of positive thoughts your way. Take care and keep us posted.
