This is so hard! I thought I would be THRILLED to finally get a BFP, but all I do is worry. DH and I tried for six years and this was our fourth cycle of fertility injections. We lost one bean at 5 weeks last june. I am 5.4 wks pregnant. I wish I had more symptoms. I hardly feel pregnant. I have a little sore BB's and tiredness, and some mild cramping, but that is it. I am high risk so we had one ultrasound at 5 weeks, but it was too early to see anything. I have to wait two more weeks. I am so scared that there will be no heartbeat. After trying so long, we want this baby so bad, but I dont want to get hurt again! This is just so hard!
It is very hard to be pregnant again after a loss -- and I am assuming that it is even more difficult with how long you have been trying. I always try to give a little hope to those who are so nervous .. I've had 2 healthy babies since I lost my baby and am pregnant with the third one since I lost her. It was (and still is) nervewracking... wondering if everything is ok.. worrying constantly... unfortunately a loss tends to take our innocence about pregnancy away. Know that you have lots of people here pulling for you and praying that this little baby stays with you until December.
I barely had any symptoms with this pregnancy-- no morning sickness (the occasional gag but not actually getting sick) and none of the other typical symptoms other than utter exhaustion. It really worried me because I had so many symptoms for my others. Now that he is moving.. I feel much more confident. I hope the same happens for you :)
Know that you can bounce your fears off of us and we'll do our best to reassure you!
