It was so amazing! I totally didn't think it would be like this-this is my first u/s where I actually got to see a baby!
At first you could just see this baby curled up in there and you could see the heart beating and he/she wasn't moving around. Then while the doc was moving the probe around the baby woke up and started wiggling like crazy. He stretched his legs out and reached down and touched his toes with his hands! On the moving u/s the picture was so clear. You could really tell that there was a baby in there! The nurse even said she had never seen an ultrasound so clear and the doc said it's too bad we couldn't take a video.
I put a link to the pic they gave us, it's not as clear as when he was moving around, but you can still see. The head is at the bottom and that thing sticking out of the face is the arm on the other side, and you can sorta see the other arm laying down by his side. Then at the top of the pic you can see his legs sticking out a little bit.
Wow, when he (or she) stretched out, I had no idea he would have little legs and arms that long yet! Crazy. I can hardly believe it.

Annie-
Thank you for the wonderful amazing words describing your u/s.

That is wonderful news!!!!
Well, according to my LMP I'm 11wk2days, but I know I ovulated early, so I think I'm 11wks4days. The baby measured at 11w2d, but the doc expected it to be less than what I actually am since the baby was curled up when he measured instead of stretched out, so it looks like my calculations are probably right (he actually thought it would measure less than 11w2d, so was surprised to see it "right on" when measured curled up). :)
But I guess 2 days isn't a big difference! :)

Congratulations on a wonderful u/s!
It's just so exciting when you see there's a real live little human in there isn't it? It's truly a miracle. So glad everything is going well.
Cheers,
Helen
