I've convinced myself (M)

that this baby has died, just like my second one did. I barely have any symptoms (nausea about once every 10 days, gag on the toothbrush now and then, backache, occasional uterus twinge--no sore boobs at all). I'm getting closer to my personal milestone (found out at 10 weeks) and I'm so worried that the same thing will happen. Can't I just fast forward to the second week of August? Actually, I'd rather fast forward to about 20 weeks, and be able to feel this little one move around. I hate the first trimester.

I'll be so heartbroken if this little peanut doesn't make it. I've grown to love him/her already.

Sigh...

LYnn,
I'm sorry you are having to go through this. Having a previous m/c takes away the innocence of the next pg.

I too had convinced myself that this little nut was gone because I "felt" it had. So much for my intuition as my baby is alive and well. Even at 17 weeks I still think that I've lost it and even went to the doctor yesterday just to check there was still a heartbeat there. He thinks I'm crazy!

As for lack of symptoms, I have had NONE with this pregnancy so I wouldn't worry about that. I only got sore BB's around week 13, had no m/s, no cravings...nothing. Like you, I thought something was wrong - but nothing is wrong. Once you pass your milestone you will feel much better. I hope the next 1.5 weeks goes quickly for you.

I'll be keeping you in my prayers.
Take care,
Helen

Lynn,

If this makes you feel any better than here it is. I am 28 weeks pg with my first. In first trimester I had no nausea, vomiting( absolutely none) and practically no symptoms. I was feeling fine and eating normal food. I was only feeling tired at night if thats what you call symptom otherwise no gagging while brushing teeth either. My boobs didnt hurt much. Now that I am in third trimester, everybody complains about back ache and heart burn. I dont have that either. I still dont know how it feels like when you have Heart burn!! My baby is still fine and very active. I havent gained much weight but she is gaining what she is suppose to ad very healthy. I too had m/c right before this so I know how nervous you are especially when you dont have symptoms. but I elarned in last 7 months that every pg is different.

please dont lose hope. I am sure your bean is fine.just because you dont feel symptoms doesnt mean something is wrong.

Oh Lynn, I know exactly what you are feeling. I too had a missed m/c at 10.5 weeks w/ no inkling that the baby had died at 6.5 weeks. I was so afraid that it would happen again and spent my whole first tri. wishing for the 2nd to hurry up. But I made it and so will you! I would ask the dr. for another u/s just to ease your mind, I know the feeling of just needing to know! Hang in there!

Hugs!

Amy
