Should I be concerned?

I had my first u/s today and after 2 m/c this past year I was thrilled to see the little one! My only concern is that I am measuing 6w4d when I thought I was 7w1d. Should I be concerned about this variance? The heartbeat is 153 which I think is quite good.

Thanks!

Julia, I am certianly not an expert but being off by four days sounds normal to me.

Wow, that is a great h/b for so early on! Is it possible that you ovulated later than you thought? That could account for the difference.

Julia, I would not be concerned at all! U/s can be up to a week off that early on. With this little one, well...here were my early u/s's.

6w0d...measured 5w3d hb 126
6w6d...measured 6w0d hb 140
7w5d...measured 7w3d hb 146

SO...my babe was behind early on and caught up easily! My doc said they dont' get concerned until the babe is behind a week or more. The hb is wonderful!!!!! Congrats!!!!

I have been off on all my pregnancies and this is my third! I was off by 3 weeks with this one because my ovulation varies from month to month. So, don't be too worried, as long as you progress well, all is good.

Hi Julia,

I wouldn't worry as long as you saw a baby and a heartbeat.
