Hi, Ladies.
First of all, my m/s has become infinitely more manageable the last 2 days. I haven't vomitted, have been able to eat & actually went to starbucks to meet a friend. This is much better than the last 6 weeks of laying in bed either vomitting or trying not to vomit! I am so so so so grateful. I'm hoping that I"ll be back to snuff in the next week & able to more active on the board.
Second, I had my OB appt today. Of course, he couldn't hear the HB on the doppler because the placenta is in front. He wheeled in the u/s & we saw the baby's HB right away. We even saw the baby jump. I'm relieved the baby is still alive!
Tomorrow I have the NT screening. Of course, I'm imagining all sorts of horrible defects with the baby since I'm of advanced maternal age. Once I get past this, I'm thinking I can become excited about this pregnancy.
I'll keep you posted. Thanks so much for all of your support during the last 6 weeks. I've really appreciated it.

Oh, I'm SO glad to hear that the m/s is getting better.
YAY Antonette! I am SO happy to read this! Congrats on seeing your baby today and feeling better! I have felt so bad for you having to deal with the m/s, sounds like you are on your way to being able to enjoy this pg like you deserve to. Good luck with the NT screening, I'm sure baby will look great. Many (((HUGS)))!

Ant,
I'm so glad that you had a good appointment - and you got to see your bean!! That must have been very exciting! I'm glad that you're starting to feel a bit better and I hope that it continues.
Try not to worry about the rest of the tests. I'll be thinking of you. Let us know when you hear any results. I'm sure that everything will be just fine!
I'm at 6 weeks tomorrow and have my first appointment, so I'm looking forward to that. I hope that my doc will send me for an early u/s so that I can see what's going on in there!
