m/s meds?

all day sickness has hit!well thankfully its just nausea.what i want to know is...are the m/s meds ok to take ?i took then with my 3rd pregnancy, but im so paranoid after the m/c,that im questioning everything i do!im actually glad that m/s has come because i didnt have it with my last pregnancy and to me it shows that all the hormones are perfect!

With DS, I took 1/2 tablet of unisom at night & that worked well. So far, I have a bright, precocious 4-yr-old.
With DD, I did the unisom again & also tried the zofran. Zofran didn't work. So, far, I have a smart, cute 2-year-old.
With this pregnancy, I tried zofran - no luck. Then I tried phenegren & it helps somewhat. Other people on this board & IRL used phenegren & had no ill effects on the baby.
BTW, since you're in canada, you can get the drug that has the unisom & b6 combined. It works pretty well. I can't remember the name.
good luck.
I can sympathize. I had very bad m/s with my ds. It hasn't started this time. But I must say I may welcome it once it does since I never had it with my m/c pg. Anyway, you could try taking ginger tabs before bed. Or try the Diclectin or Bendictin (I can't remember what the name of it is in Canada). But it's essentially Unisom and vitamin B6 and is perfectly safe during pg. Otherwise, try drinking water with lemon juice, sucking on cinamon candy. Next, you could ask your doc for a rx for phenergan or Zofran. I hope you get to feeling better!
