I haven't had my appointment yet, but I'm wondering if it's safe.

My Dr. said we could if we wanted to but she thought it may not be such a good idea.

My OB told me no sex 1st tri, and consequently I have been petrified since.

We weren't told that... but I just watched for any blood (even a drop of pink) afterward. We even used condoms a few times after I heard that seman can irritate the cervix. I think we've averaged once a week, if not less, since I got my BFP. I'm fine in the moment, but afterward I still think, "What if..."

Definitely something to bring up with your doctor though!

I think it's fine to have sex if you feel comfortable with it.

Unless you have a problem with your pregnancy you can have sex. Ask your doctor if it makes you feel better but there is no reason you cannot (unless there is a reason KWIM?)

We were given the go ahead and then I started having problems spotting at around 8 weeks so we were told no until the second tri. All was fine until last week and now we have been put on the no sex orders AGAIN. It SUCKS!

I always had the green light. Sex should be completely safe...though I know how scary it is being a PAL and all. Just take it slow...it should be fine. Sometimes paps and sex can cause spotting. Do bring it up to your Dr. if that happens...just to see his recommendation. It never happened with me when pg with my DD, but with this girl I get a teeny spot of spotting after dh and I have sex, just 1x, when I wipe. The dr. knows about it and we've concluded that if it gets any worse we'll have to stop, but for now he isn't concerned. (((HUGS)))
