Hi Girls!

Finally home and with good news... I think!... The Dr. said my blood work looks great!!, My progesterone is good and my HCG was at 2400 on Monday and 3600 on Wednesday. We had an u/s and I finally got to see my little bean!!!! We didn't get to hear the heartbeat, but we got to see it!! my bean's heart was just pumping away!! I started crying and my DH started crying as well...My baby us measuring 6w 1day, which is small. The Dr. left the room so I could get dressed and my husband gave me a big hug and we started crying again and we prayed for a few minutes..I am so so happy and so thankful to have you guys and be able to share this with you!! I have been thanking our Father God and praying that all continues well...

I do however have some questions, what do you guys think about my numbers?? and also, the Dr. swears I am just 6w and 1day preggo, but my calculations say I am 7w and 1day preggo, can my baby be that small? could implantation have been that late so that my pregnancy really is 6w and 1day? or am I in trouble again? Any input is greatly appreciated!!...

Thank you so much for your prayers and for all of your positive vibes, you guys are awesome!!

God Bless!!!

Hi, Jennifer - I'm so glad all is okay. I've been wondering how you're doing.

As far as the date being off, it could be that you had a late implantation. Also, I think that those u/s have an accuracy of +/- 10% which can be a lot in the early u/s.

Hello Jen,

I responded to your post on TTCAM, but I forgot to mention that the dates on the u/s can be off.

Jennifer-
I'm happy to see you post this good news! I've been thinking about you since I read one of your last posts about your concerns. I'm assuming you temped and charted since you were a TTCAM gal? So you are CERTAIN when you ovulated? The u/s can be off a few days in either direction but I'm not sure about an entire week-- that's why I ask. HOWEVER-- I have known of people whose baby got a "slow start". They measured behind in the beginning and then caught up just weeks later! So that's always a possibility too.

In any case-- I'm glad you saw your little one's HB and that all looks well! CONGRATS!!

Congrats Jennifer and bean! Yeah for seeing that beautiful hb!!!

About the measuring...there are a couple of possibilities:

1) you could have implanted late
2) the u/s is just "off". the early u/s's can be up to 7 days off

This bean of mine was off 6 days in the beginning (at my 6w6d u/s she measured 6w0d). She sure caught up though. My dr. said he doesn't get concerned that early unless the babe is MORE THAN a week off. I had an u/s the next week and she had caught up 9 days worth in 6 days! And at my BIG u.s she was right on. Today is is actually measuring a week and 1 day ahead! I think these babes just grow at their own pace...not the dr's.

(((HUGS))) and congrats!
