I usually HATE when I'm wrong...

But this was welcome! Everything was perfect! We are measuring at 7w6d (right on!) and had a beautiful heartbeat of 130bpm. All that worrying for nothing. Dr. said we are not totally in the clear yet, but we will be soon!

I do have one worry, they had to take a biopsy of my cervix today. It could be the VERY VERY early stages of cervical cancer (I'm only 26), but he also said I should not be concerned about that. If it is, we caught it VERY early, and we can deal with it.

Thanks for all the P&PT ladies! Greatly appreciated!

If it makes you feel any better to know; just about all of my friends and I have had those cervix problems. We all had our cervixes frozen and we all turned out fine! I had mine at 21. I think it's a pretty normal thing, but lots of luck!!!!

April,

Sending sticky baby vibes that your bean will sprout and all will be well. Prayers and PT for your cervical test too.

My sister-in-law was diagnosed with ovarian cancer after her 2nd baby a few years back and she was in her mid 20's. Crazy. But she went on to have a perfect pregnancy and then had to have a hysterectomy and removal of one of her ovaries. She went to MD Anderson in Houston and during surgery, they did a new technique and were able to get all the bad cells/tissue out without her having to undergo any chemo or radiation. She goes for follow-ups every 4 months now and all has been perfectly well for about 2 years now.

Anyway, I'll keep you in my prayers that your tests come back negative/healthy and that your little one will continue to thrive!

april - that's great news about the baby. I also have heard that if cervical cancer is caught early, then prognosis is out of this world good. Despite that, I hope that's not what you have.

April,

I hate the worry about the cervix - I'll keep you in my prayers.

But the baby having a good strong heartbeat is great news.
