Got my doppler

I wasn't going to rent one, but I started getting anxious over the weekend. We started telling more people and then I started to worry. I haven't had much nausea and my bbs aren't as sore. I didn't want to keep telling people unless I was sure that things were ok. So I broke down and rented one. It took about 15 minutes but I did hear the heartbeat. We heard it at the OB office at 9w3d so I knew I could hear it, it was just a matter of finding it. DH thinks I'm crazy and worrying too much, but I told him that being able to hear the hb on the doppler will decrease my anxiety.

Yay, Laurie! I rented one at 10w (or maybe 11w, I forget), but it was the BEST thing that I could do. Of course others (i.e., my MIL and often DH) would think I was setting myself up in case something happened, but I needed it. Of course they all changed their minds once they heard the hb for themselves!

It's just the kind of peace of mind us PAL gals need - and for $20-ish/month, it's well worth it!
