Don't give up. Try a nature store...I don't know where...but when my progesterone came back so low someone here or at TTCAM told me you can buy it over the counter.

I don't think your pg is doomed though. Yes, your numbers are a little low...but what my Dr. told me when my reading came back at 6.5 is that they LIKE to see the numbers closer to 20, but anything over 11 is "do-able". I don't know what "do-able" means though. He told me that right after he said I would lose this baby "most likely" b/c my numbers were 6.5 and gave me his condolences. Since I was so upset he offered me progesterone supplements "just in case".

Hi Sarah - I have a friend who took some progesterone that she got at a natural foods store (or some kind of healthy natural place). She had a topical cream and that's all she used to support her pregnancy (she had numbers close to your's if not lower) and she now has a healthy eight month old boy. The doctors are probably right that you don't NEED the promitrium, but I can understand that it makes you feel better to be on the safe side. I hope you'll be feeling more relaxed soon, Helene

Dear Sarah,

I'm so sorry they won't give it to you.
