Hi Girls!!
I went to my appt yesterday and I have to say DH and I spent all the afternoon at the hospital (my OB works there) but it was worth it.
Since I was 8 w 6d my Dr didn't use the doppler because he told me sometimes it is early for that and he didn't want to upset me. And when I had the u/s two weeks ago everything was perfect. The exmination went really well.
I'm so glad he is my doctor. He really took the time to talk with us and explained everything he could. He is a perinatologist and he specialize in high risk pregnancy so he told us he will take care of me. After we talked he made and appt right away with the genetist and they conclude it will be wise to have a NT u/s done. They didn't saw anything suspicious in our family health history or my angel's anlysis but since was a late loss (20 wk) and sometimes polihydramnios it is caused by chromosomal anormalities they want to be extra careful.
I'm glad because we all know sometimes they took you serious after consecutives m/c...
Another thing is I have a history of aneurysm running in my family so they will be monitoring that too and maybe if the pregnancy goes well I will be having some testing in that matter around 20wk. I must say the perspective of that running in the family scare me but I'm in good hands : God's and theirs.
I will have the NT u/s in January 25th.
Please, prayers and godd vibes will be really appreciated!
