Tiff,

I wouldn't worry too much about the progesterone.

Funny, the suppositories are both of my doctors' FIRST choice...

Hi Tiffany,

I'm a lurker here (losses in 07/04 and 03/05) and just wanted to jump in on the oral progesterone. My dr prescribed the oral form to me to use vaginally. In talking to my pharmacist, he said more and more dr's are doing this, as you avoid a lot of the side effects of taking it orally and it's definitely not as messy as suppositories. I felt better having the progesterone as "close" to the baby as possible.

After two early losses due to progesterone, I'm now almost 18 weeks, and my progesterone numbers in the first 10 weeks or so remained in the 30's.

Just an idea if you are really uncomfortable with the drop in numbers (although like pp's said, 19 is still very good!)

((hugs))

Dana

Tiffany - I don't have anything to offer, other than support. I can only imagine how scared you must be. I would think that if the OB was worried that they would tell you & do something, so I'm hoping all is okay. Keep us posted.
