They should have a "freaked out" selection under emotion.

Hi Kathy,
We didn't tell family until 12wks, after our 1st U/S.
Kathy,
I completely understand your worries about spreading the news. Last time, I told my mom I was pregnant the day after I found out. She pressured me to tell the rest of the family, which I didn't, and then I miscarried. This time, I haven't told her anything. I think I will tell her and my sister after our 7-week ultrasound and then tell everyone else at 10 weeks.
I hope that as you enter the second trimester that you feel a little more confident about your pregnancy and feel more comfortable telling people. I know pregnancy feels so delicate and tentative when we are PAL, but I think you and your little bean are going to be fine!
See my cha
I agree that it is exstremely difficult. After 2 m/c's it was very hard to tell people. Every time I told someone I felt like I was setting myself up for failure. I will say that we had our level 2 sono on Friday and calling and telling folks it's a boy was a LOT more fun than telling everyone I was pregnant. Don't get me wrong I am still worried but he feels like a little person now and it feels like everyone should know about him regardless of the outcome. I also have to say going for the level to with perinatal specialist does give some relief when the doc says things like "perfect" and just "right." I wish we didn't have to be a PAL because it is hard but I have to believe the joy will be even better. Sending prayers your way for positive thoughs and calm.
