Ultrasound looked good! :)

Well, we had our first ultrasound today, and there really is a baby in there! We were able to see the baby and the heartbeat right away. The tech did an abdominal ultrasound first and then an endovaginal one to get a closer look. She didn't measure the heart rate, but she said it looked great. The baby measured at 6 weeks, 2 days +/- 3 days. Based on my ovulation day, I think I am 6 weeks, 5 days today. I asked if I should be concerned about the discrepancy, and she said absolutely not. She said that there's a little variability and that it was pretty much right on with my dates.
A doctor came in afterwards and congratulated us. He asked me about my dates again (even though I had already explained to the tech) because, based on my LMP, I would be 7 weeks, 2 days right now. I told him I didn't ovulate until CD 19, and he looked happy and said it looked perfect then. He showed us the recording of the ultrasound and the heartbeat one more time and said things looked good. I asked him if the heart rate looked OK, and he agreed that it was strong and good.
So, it's all good news then! It was such a relief to see that little bean. I happened to have the same ultrasound tech who saw me when I was miscarrying. She was very sweet and understanding that we were nervous, and she seemed genuinely happy to share good news with us this time.
Oh, I'm attaching a photo of the bean. It's the cutest little blob I've ever seen :)
Everyone, I can't thank you enough for all the support you've given me over the past couple of weeks. I don't know how I would have gotten through the wait until today without you. You girls are wonderful, and I appreciate you all so, so much!
