Past my milestone!

Well, today I am 7 weeks, 2 days, which is one day past my milestone. It wasn't quite as easy to get to today as I had hoped because of the spotting scare on Wednesday, but I'm still feeling pretty good because of the 2 great ultrasounds. Last time when I started spotting at 7 weeks, I miscarried at 7 weeks, 1 day. So far, I haven't had even one more drop of brown spotting since it happened Wednesday morning, and I hope it stays that way. I'm happy that I have now made it farther in this pregnancy than I was able to with my first.

I have a feeling the next 3 weeks are going to be a little hard because it's too early for a Doppler check, and I don't have any more ultrasounds or any other way to check on the baby. I'm just going to have to have faith that my little tatertot is still growing and doing well. What I do have is nausea, which gets worse every day. As long as I have that, I feel like it's a good sign for my pregnancy, so you won't hear me complaining :)

Yay for passing your milestone Andi!!!! That's great!!!! It does make it a little easier now that I'm past mine also to sit back and enjoy this time. You'll be so surprised at how fast time flies and like me, you'll be saying "what? I'm almost out of the dreaded first trimester already?" really soon!

Andi,

I'm so happy to hear you made it past that big hurdle, and hope everything is smooth sailing (or, er, running, to stick with the hurdle theme!) from here on out. I know it's nerve wrecking to hang in until the doppler checks, but listen to your body: it's telling you, loud and clear, that it's very busy growing a healthy baby in there!

And don't forget that you have all of us to lean on. I have 26 days until my next u/s, and it's going to drive me crazy! We're right there with you. :)

Big hugs,

I wish I could speed up time for you, Tara! :) I will say that the time is passing more quickly than I expected. When I scheduled my first ultrasound and it was 10 days away, I didn't know how I would wait that long. Now, it has already been almost a week since I had the ultrasound! I bet the time will go by quickly for you too, and soon I'll be congratulating you on passing your milestone! Hang in there :)
