Ok ladies I have a question to ask, I always feel like I am busting into your thread and I love reading it and such, but I feel bad because I am not in the first trimester, can we call it the G.A.S. Chat? Well as much of you have already found out the gas you have when you are pregnant is well, at times unbelievable, and it could stand for gossip advice and support. I know you girls like to chat because the transition is hard but really if I were honest I am still having a hard time, I have not let myself believe that I am truly pregnant..... I am hoping that subsides soon and I can relax a little. Anyways please by no means am I trying to take away from your chat and if you hate the suggestion.....well, that's fine by me (said in a happy way:) Anyways I am so happy that this is here, it has been a nice little distraction!!! Thanks girls!

If you haven't been over to TTCAM today, you all need to go over and see who got their BFP today.

Good Afternoon Ladies...

I so counting down for the weekend. I'm glad my weekend starts tonight after work. That's what you get when you have to work on Sundays. YUCK!

Saying hello to all the new ladies that joined us. It's really good to see each and every one of you.

Stephanie, when you said to see who got her BFP, I thought you meant Cheryl! I got all frantic to go over there to check. That's what I get for making assumptions!

Andi, I think this is a fantastic idea. I was actually going to bring it up myself to just call this something generic and make it for everyone, but I forgot to post it! I was thinking of you especially because I know you don't want to post here as much because you aren't in the 1T, but I love to talk to you! I know I won't want to have to leave the chat when I'm out of the 1T either.

I feel like total crap today. I'm really tired and feel sick and miserable sitting at my desk. Of course this is the day that there is a TON of work for me and I can't just blow off work. I just want to cry because all I want to do is lie down, but I'm already behind as it is. I wish I could quit my job and just not work, but I don't think I could really sell that to DH. I don't think my maternity leave is supposed to start at 9 weeks!

By the way, does wearing a bra make anyone else feel sick? I can't stand to have the pressure around my chest right now. At least I work at home so can go braless because that squeezing makes me feel like throwing up :(

Could I be more pathetic today? I'm REALLY not complaining about being pregnant here. Don't get the wrong idea. I'm happy to feel sick and be pregnant. It's just that I wish I didn't have to work while I feel this way. I wish it was 1950 and I wasn't expected to work!

I'm suppose to go outside and mow the lawn today because today's the best day weather-wise all week, but I'm not. I'm sitting here waiting for the phone to ring. I know if I go outside, the doctor's office will call and will forget to give me Tuesday's numbers (of course if I stay inside they won't call at all). This anxiety sucks. I'm trying to distract myself and keep busy but it's not working very well.

As far as symptoms go, I'm with the don't have much crowd. I have night sweats and have to go to the bathroom during the night. Those are the only definite and consistent ones. I've had flashes of other things but nothing lasts more than a few minutes. With my duaghter I didn't get any morning sickness until after 9 weeks. 5-6 weeks is still pretty early (unless your having multiples). I hope everyone is having a great day.

Cassi,

Actually I was just so happy that I was pg again, that the signs were there but I never sat and thought about them until after we were told we were having twins!

I was so tired, I was tired last time but nothing like this, I felt like I could fall asleep at the drop of a hat, I mean it is bad. I feel exhausted when I wake up!!

The next thing that should have sparked me was my first HCG count at 4+ weeks that it was 5,848!! I remember Tara responding to my post about that and she said "you have some high numbers there".

Yes I am showing, I look like I should be at least 5 months lol!!

I have had m/s but it was the same as last time, so that I don't think should have triggered me to thinking I was pg with twins.

Have you gone for an u/s yet?? That is the way they will definately tell and let me tell you I was shocked!! But they do say that women over 35 (which I am not saying you are - but I am!!) have a higher rate of having twins.

Good Luck!!

Hey ladies.. Question for you are any of you having so much trouble sleeping at night. I can't seem to find a comfortable position to sleep in. I've always slept on my side, because my baby dog Ortiz, likes to sleep right on my arms and my other dog Pokey likes to sleep behind my legs. Anyway, completely off subject, it's not my dogs that bother me, but I have this weird pressure in my stomach area, so I started sleeping with a pillow between my legs. I feel really bad because I keep Rob up all the time. :(

Thanks Tara!

I was wondering if I was over reacting to the situation. Especially when I find out that Sunday she is going to look at a puppy with her kids and doesn't want to take my son with her because it is a long drive. They have a DVD player, how hard is that. And what 3 year old wouldn't want to see puppies. I want to see puppies! OK Venting here!.

Thanks for the vent!

Hmm....well maybe I've just gone one in there then. At 8 or 9dpo my # was 16, then it jumped to 648 at 15 dpo, which would put me at 4 weeks by the standard guidelines. That's no where near 5,000! I am also 24, so I guess that doesn't put me in the right age range. I wonder why age affects it?

My symptoms are much worse this time, including a constant bad stomach all day long starting right before I hit the 6-week mark. I had to ask about symptoms because someone else on a different board said their m/s started before their BFP when they had twins!

My u/s is Monday afternoon. I am pretty worried, but trying to stay calm. Of course I just want a heartbeat whether there is 1 or 2 of them - but it's fun to speculate. :)

Is your DH excited about 2?

Lots of luck,
Cassi
