"Milk is nasty..."

LMAO! For some reason this strikes me as absolutely hilarious.

Chai tea. Yum! But doesn't it have caffiene in it?

I hope I learn to love water through this pregancy. That would cut out lots o calories from juices and other such drinks.

Cheers,

There's probably some caffeine in the tea but I've never been one to really worry about those things. I also eat luncheon meat if that is appealling etc. My motto is if it goes down and stays down than that is just fine with me (I get severe morning sickness and staying hydrated can get to be a chore, little things like caffeine are immaterial in my world :-).

As far as milk. Yes I think it's nasty. I haven't drank a cup of white milk since grade school (except in my tea where it doesn't taste like milk). When I was growing up my parents didn't make alot of money so to save money they got their milk from my grandparents. They had one milk cow and had a home pasturizing but it didn't homegenize the milk. As a result the cream all floated to the top and you had to shake the milk to try and mix the cream back in. I STILL have horrible memories of drinking milk and encountering these nasty chunks of cream. It's turned me off of milk for life. Just can't drink it without memories of the cream. I can drink chocolate milk, or flavored milk shakes etc. just not plain white milk. I shudder thinking about it. Sorry for all those who like it, I just can't do it.

Just checking in here at 7w1d. Yesterday I actually vomited. Well, dry heaved severely. Nothing in my tummy to come up, since it was first thing in the morning. Last night I slept about 13-14 hours. Now I am hungover from too much sleep. I can tell now that I must have something in my stomach immediately when I wake up, or I will be very sorry. I am LOVING Carnation Instant Breakfast (French Vanilla) in a tall glass of milk (I am a milk-aholic, so sorry to all of you who think milk is yucky). After about 30 minutes or 1 hour I can eat something else. After about 12 noon I feel okay again and no more nausea until sometimes in the evening.

Symptoms:

Nausea, SO tired, Sore bbs, Expanding tummy, Starving all the sudden, "Cotton Throat" all the sudden where I HAVE to have some liquid, dizzy & lightheaded spells.

I am no longer feeling worried that I'm going to lose the baby now that I have had one pukey session and have seen the heartbeat. SO nice not to be so worried anymore. Rooting for all of you who are still waiting for your ultrasounds, Coach Jenn, Tara, etc... and so happy for Bex (I know just how you feel!) and am sending stick, bean, stick vibes to Jen-ay, I think the fact that it's just a litttle bit and pink is a good sign. Take it easy!

Belly Rubs to all!

Hi ladies,

I'm checking in. I'm so ready to go home, I hate working on Sundays. :(

Anyway, I'm feeling really tired, sore bbs, and major m/s, ie. dry heaving etc. It's terrible.

I'm looking forward to my 1st u/s on Wednesday it can't come soon enough.

Congrats to Bex on her u/s. What great news! Also rooting for everyone else who has an u/s coming up.
