Good Morning All,

I hope everyone had a good weekend. This weekend was my 2nd Wedding Anniversary and I slept all day :( But it was ok because my DH had to work. I had the worst headache, that has decided to stay over and make my Monday difficult. Has anyone been feeling "off"? I feel foggy and dizzy is this normal or do you think I should call my doctor or wait since Friday is my appointment? My m/s is pretty bad today, but I think it is because of the headache..

I hope everyone is having a better Monday then me :)

Belly rubs to all,
Lisa

Jen-Ay, I'm so sorry about that spotting, and I'm glad you've seen the last of it. I'm impressed with how well you are handling it and just waiting until your scheduled ultrasound. You are much better about keeping your cool than I am. I really hope it was nothing, and I'll be sending positive thoughts your way.

Tara, do you get the pre-made Instant Breakfast or the powder? I buy the powder, and I got just plain chocolate. The chocolate malt is actually my favorite flavor, but they didn't have that at my grocery store. Congrats on getting some action yesterday. I did yesterday too! I could actually take it or leave it right now, but I was proud of myself for being brave and going for it. I freaked out a little while afterwards when I saw a little brownish/red on my underwear, but then I realized that I'm 99.5% sure it was a stain from previous wear. (I'm sorry that's kind of gross, but come on, I can't be the only woman with stained underwear, right?) Anyhoo, I didn't have any real spotting, and I'm glad you didn't either.

Lisa, congratulations on your anniversary! Although I'm sorry you feel so bad, I do think your strong symptoms are a really good sign for your baby. I hope the headache passes soon and you start feeling better.

I'm bitter that it's Monday. I need a serious attitude adjustment about work. I have had no desire to work since I have been pregnant, and that's a real problem for me. I need to stop being so lazy!

Oh, one more thing: I bought the cutest onesie at Old Navy this weekend. I was trying to find shirts for myself to cover my thick middle, but I wasn't very successful. The baby is much easier to shop for! It's a cute light tan outfit with a little brown monkey print. I couldn't resist!

Tara, tell Mr. Tara, "Mitts off my preggo coffee, Mister!" LOL Mr. Jenn knows better than to touch my Carnation, unless he's whipping up some for me! I will have to try the Strawberry. The Vanilla is awesome!

Well, I have a rave! So far today no major queasiness, and I actually got the kitchen cleaned up, and the laundry collected in one place, and don't feel too bad. I am going to try to get a bunch done today, as I've been feeling so yucky and slacking off. My in-laws are coming for 2 weeks on Thursday......

Happy Preggo Vibes to everyone, and P.S. Tara some guys really do like bigger butts. My DH swears up and down he liked my "extra" back there when I was pregnant with Hannah. I don't get it....

Andi,

Am I remembering correctly that you work at home? If so, I'd love to chat with you. I do too, and am having such a hard time working when I feel so yucky. Major kuddos to all you preggos who are shuffling off to work every morning feeling crappy.

Jenn, I do work from home as a medical transcriptionist. What do you do?

For me, my motivation problem is a combination of feeling physically crappy and tired and just not caring about work anymore. I think being pregnant is really all I care about at this point, and I just can't wait for my baby to be here and to be a mom. That's the job I really want, so it's hard for me to focus on my work that seems so unimportant now. I wish I had the kind of husband who would say, "Why don't you just quit your job?" He isn't really like that though. I mean, he wouldn't forbid it or anything. He just would think it was unfair that I wasn't working for pretty much no reason while he still has to work. I took this job so that I could have something to do from home after the baby, but I think the chances of me working after the baby is here are very, very small.

I agree that I feel sorry for all of our friends here who have to actually get up, get dressed, and leave the house to go to work all day. At least we can be at home in comfy clothes. I used to work as a veterinary nurse, and there is no way I could be doing that job at this point. It was just too physically draining!

If no one minds, I would just like to take a moment to say some prayers for our dear friend Jenn (coachjenn1).

I haven't been online in 2 days and I was so sad to hear Jenn's news.
