I am still feeling queasy or ill all day. I am happy to feel ill but its hard work keeping up with my 4 year old. I napped for an hour this afternoon while he was at a class and that hour was only half long enough. Now the house is a mess and dinner is not done AND we are going out for my husband's 30th tonight. We are heading out to dinner first (ugh - I am both starving and unable to eat most things) and then to a Massive Attack concert. I am afraid I will fall asleep about 10.30pm. Hrmm... at least its beautiful music.
I had the crampy feeling today - so I hope that is just stretching. Bbs are still tender but I wouldn't call them really SORE. Just like "don't hit me there" and I kind of hang on to them when I have to jog down into the basement. Its quite funny and I'm glad no-one is watching.
You know, I just have to say - I love that this board is here an all but with all the bad news and worries of these early u/s ... what don't people get about us wanting to remain a little longer in the BOB area of TTCAM. I am still so p-ed off about that. 18 months on the board and its all .... ...
I need to beautify myself as much as I can before the babysitter arrives.
GOOD LUCK AT THE ULTRASOUND TOMORROW JEN! Is it early or late in the day? (thinking update timing)
I felt a lot of cramping in my back for a few weeks when I first found out I was pg, then it subsided slowly but it did. My bbs are very sore, but getting quite big as well. I wonder about that lol.
One symptom I have been getting is this tightening in my lower abdomen, it does not hurt, but it tightens for a few minutes and then releases and I don't know if that is my uterus growing or not either. I have my next u/s on Friday and a doctors appointment so I will speak to her then and see what she says.
Yes I have gas not afraid to say it lol, but no funny stories yet lol. I know your u/s will go very well so try and relax and enjoy it!!
I did have backaches, especially in my sixth week. They pretty much went away after a few days, but I was worried about it at the time because I get backaches before my period (and before my miscarriage). It turned out to be nothing though, so I definitely think it can be normal. I also read in several places that back pain is common in the first and third trimesters, so that made me feel a little better.
Go to bed early tonight to make tomorrow get here faster, and I hope you get nothing but good news at your ultrasound. I'll be thinking about you and can't wait to hear your HAPPY update :)
I'm sure you're backaches will subside Jenn. I tell you though, they freak me out too. I have to keep reminding myself that even in my non-PG state I sometimes get backpains. That and when I had them before my m/c they were majorly, majorly intense. Good luck on the appt. tomorrow I'm sure aches and pains are just a part of your body's version of pregnancy.
I can't wait to be further along. I'd even take 6 weeks happily at this point. 5 wks and 1 day is where I sit right now. My spotting before my miscarriage started at 23dpo. Tomorrow is 23dpo for me this cycle. I think I'm creeping myself out about it.
I guess I'll go crash for the night. It's pretty early 9:30. Maybe I'll ready my girlfriends guide to pregnancy before bed. I love that book.

So now all my "ectopic" symptoms are gone, but I'm back to having AF cramps off and on

My ultrasound is at 1pm central time.
I hope you have a great time at the concert Shannon and you're able to stay awake for it!
