Morning everybody!!!!

Tara, I too wake up at night really wet from night sweats. I did with DS also. I hate the wet hot feeling and then it goes away and I am wet and cold!!!!!!! What is up with that???? Maybe I will try the less clothes thing Bex suggested, but DH is always in bed by the time I get there and you know what that means!!!!!!! And why am I hot at night and always freezing during the day?

Today is a beautiful day and I am heading to the park with DS to get some good sun rays in. I broke out the shorts for the first time this morning. OH Man!!!! I think my legs glow in the dark! I saw a post about self tanners and that the doc's say they are OK, but I just cannot go there....anyone else think it can't be good when preggo or am I just strange? Comments welcome. :)

Jenn-Ay....I believe you should be at the doc's or am I messed up with the time thing too. I am sending the big prayer guns out for you!

Thanks for all the prayers and hugs.....you guys are truly awesome! And I took Tara's advice in the scheduling of the ultrasounds. I called my doc's back and asked for a morning appointment. The wait would kill me!

My DS informed me yesterday that he is no longer Jakey (a nickname we call him). I asked him what he wanted to be called and he firmly told me Jacob! He is 3!!!! I thought this would be an issue when he was 10 or 13?????

OK, out of the house for fresh air....

Good Afternoon it's 2ish here in the middle of nowhere Maine. :) I first want to thank everyone for thinking of me. Believe me I could feel you all there during my appointment. I'm a little upset my next appointment is not until the end of May, but they told me they would fit me in anywhere if I need any reasurance (spell?)

Anyway, I'm feeling really crappy. I can't seem to keep anything down which completely stinks. Because I'm a totally lover of food (seeing why I have a "natural" junk in my truck) My bbs are not as sore, but they hurt like heck when I touch them, of course I do it all the time to make sure I'm not losing my mind. LOL

I'm so glad to hear everyone else is doing great. My heart goes out to everyone who has recently loss and scares. It just break my heart. Sending each of the my love and (((HUGS))).

Well, I finally broke down and told people about being pregnant. I told my parents first and it took a minute for them to realize what I said. They ended up calling me back several hours later to make sure they heard correctly. It was really cute. They might now beable to come down for the birth because they live 6 hours away and in the middle of Dec. who knows what the weather will be like. I totally understand. It's still sad. We haven't told Rob's parents yet. I'm hoping we'll do it soon, because his sister knows and she has a hard time keeping a secret.

I better get back to work. Have a great day ladies!

I am so glad you mentioned that Tara, because I am bursting too! I am only 5'6'' and 115 lbs and I've never had pants become too tight before, but now they are so uncomfortable.
I even called my mom last night in a panic wondering if maybe showing so early was a sign something was wrong (when she was pg with my brother, they knew he had a genetic disease because she was retaining so much fluid, she was in maternity clothes before she got a BFP!) She assured me that all the websites that say you can't possibly show until 3-4 months are dead wrong, so I felt better.

So here's my funny story for the day: yesterday my pants were so tight when I sat down, I had to keep them unbuttoned with my sweater over the top. This seemed like a genuis plan until I was left alone in the office and a man came to pick up some materials from our conference room. First I tried to make an excuse to duck under my desk and button up under there, but I couldn't fit my entire body underneath it. So I stood there staring at him in a panic and finally gripped my waistband and sprinted into the conference room. He must have thought I was completely psychotic!

This caused me to break down and buy some maternity thongs last night (I can't believe there is such a thing) and let me tell you, they're like heaven! I can't bring myself to buy new pants yet, but my mom suggested buying some elastic at the fabric store to keep my pants up while unbuttoned and just wear long shirts over the top.

Sorry to ramble, but I'm glad I'm not the only one. :)

Tums...........OK, the last time I was pregnant I ate so many Tums at night that my dentist blamed the cavity that I got on eating them at night!!! I had no idea that they had so much sugar. I never have cavities. But how can you live without Tums?????

Thanks for the calming vibes Tara. Today went by pretty quickly. It was kind of blah there in the middle but it turned into a pretty decent day.

Carolyn -- Hope you had fun on your mini-vacation. I'm right there with you worrying about symptoms. I think my boobs could be as big as basketballs and nauseous could take over my whole body and I'd still wonder if it was enough. We PAL girls never get a break from the worry.

Jen -- I saw your update post. Let me congratulate you again on your good visit. I haven't had any night sweats yet. That's just one more thing to look forward to =)

If nervousness is a problem then I'm toast. You know I think all emotions are fine to have while you are PG as long as you aren't dwelling on any one of them.

Shannon -- I'm sending you some of my sore boobness cause I've been having to wear a sports bra to bed. I've got plenty of extra for you.

Bex -- It's tough to decide when to post an update. We had a blow out argument about something similar on the TTCYFC board regarding grads. It can be a tough thing to balance their feelings of sadness and their feelings of support for us PALs. It's like a big ole balancing act.

Deb -- Hope you had fun in the park with your DS. I can't wait til I have one of my own to do that with. You're a lucky lady.

Crystal -- I'm going to tell my family tomorrow and DH's on Saturday. Or at least I might. It's a tough call. I'd like to see an u/s first but I don't know if I can wait.

Have a good tomorrow everybody. I'll be headed to bed in a few hours.
