Hello!

Shannon - sorry you're having a "grumbly" morning... I hope you feel better soon... maybe a little fresh air for that stuffiness?

So, the egg DID work... at least the tons of salt did, even without toast. Then I started to feel better and managed to stop at A COFFEE SHOP for a bagel, cream cheese and my first coffee in weeks (decaf). I feel wonderful.

Does anyone else find it hard to eat food that you make yourself? I find it quite easy to find something if I go into a cafe or to cruise for take-out but never find the right thing in the fridge.

Carolyn, I am sorry you are worried. I know how that goes after my recent scare about being so cold at night. I barely have sore bbs at all anymore so I doubt that alone is bad but if you are really concerned you should go in for another u/s this week or early next. I am finding the promise of knowing for sure each week is making me less prone to try and guess myself. I shall check on the appointments list to see when your next is... even so, i know you KNOW that symptoms are a poor guide to outcome.

Oh, calendar check. On Monday I have a job interview over LUNCH! I am hoping its something I can stomach.

Shannon

My doctor told me to take B-6 and unisom. I stopped taking the unisom last week because i was starting to feel like I spent my day in a daze but kept taking the B-6 hoping it would help. I finally stopped because it was one more thing to get down and I already felt like crap. I have actually felt better the last two without the B-6. I don't know if it's a concidence or not. As far as teh dosage I was told to take only 25mg twice a day. I only found 50 mg pills and my doctor said that was okay to take twice a day. 200mg seems a bit high but call your doctor and see what he/she says. Otherwise you could always just cut them in half.

Shannon,

I totally agree with you about not eating what you cook. I've had this problem everytime. With my first two we went out to eat at 4-5 times a week for supper (plus every day for lunch) just so I could eat. Of course now that I don't work anymore and the kids have to be fed we can't afford to do that. So I cook supper for everyone else and they eat that and I eat frozen dinners (lean cuisine and healthy choice mostly) or I go out and buy a sub. Helps keeps the food costs down some but then I don't have to eat anything I cook.

Hi girls! I'm glad to hear everyone is doing great. Congrats to everyone's heartbeats and appointments they had yesterday!!!! What a great feeling.

I do have a question for you. I've decided I couldn't wait until May 30 to see the doctor. All that time wondering if everything is okay would totally kill me. So, I called them and they've scheduled a heartbeat check on May 15 using a dopler. I'll be 10 weeks then. Will we be able to hear the heartbeat when I go in. The nurse pretty much sounded like I wouldn't be able to, but they would do an u/s after words if not. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Hello Ladies!!!!

Crystal, my doctor said that dopplers were not reliable to pick up the heartbeat until at least 12 weeks on most ladies. I guess it also depends on how your uterus is slanted and where the baby is. So, don't worry if you don't hear the heartbeat with the doppler. Just think, you may get an early ultrasound!!!

My DH and I were discussing my career last night. He truly believes that the stress of my job has caused the problems with my pregancies and miscarriages. I told him I was under more stress at my last job when pregnant with DS. He didn't think so. I work for myself now!!! I must be a real b**** of a boss! Hold your hats ladies, he wants me to quit completely - which could not be until October anyway with my line of work. Which would sound nice to most of you who would rather not be working, but I kind of like the extra income that is at my discretion to spend. Hmmmmmm.......

OK, bb's only hurt when I run down the stairs today and not when I feel myself up. Worry, worry, worry....
