I've been off this thread for awhile but I'm finally caught up. Yay! Hope you all are doing well today!
Shannon:
Thanks for the congrats. Isn't it amazing how you can get good news but still question it? I really had a great u/s but at first all I could think about was the heartrate being low at 86. Thanks to you girls and some email buddies I'm all straightened out. I hope to figure out how to get over this m/s thing by May 16th. May17th I have to be on a plane. Oh my gosh. How will I manage that. Tell me that your morning sickness with Frost ended at 8 wks. Please!
You just reminded me of some ginger altoids that I got from my first BFP. Maybe they will help with the nausea??! I can only hope.
Mmmm. Salt. I can't get enough of it. Trouble is after I eat something salty I'm thristy for hours.
Sandy:
Congrats on getting your b/w. It's always nice when you get a quick appt. 6.5 wks is an early ultrasound but for us PAL gals we generally get them earlier. Sounds like 6wks 5 days is right on target to me. I didn't have many symptoms at 4wks. Even my girls weren't that tender. They sure are now though.
Should we put some soft music on while you are feeling yourself up? Ha! Hope your bbs are as sore as they need to be to console yourself.
I had to wait a week between beta draws. It stunk.
Deb:
I've got the garlic nasty taste in my mouth thing going on too. Isn't it just lovely?!?
Good luck figuring out what you will do with your career. My career is very important to me. That combined with the fact that I'm the breadwinner by a long shot means I don't get the choice to stay home. My DH is likely going to stay home though. He's gonna try it out and see how he likes it. I'm betting he'll love it. Hopefully I won't get too jealous.
I've started wearing a sportsbra to bed my girls hurt so bad sometimes. Especially when the ligaments are stretched.
Crystal:
My DH is in school these days. Next week is his last week. Between his school and working and my working and feeling sick our house is a pit! I'm hoping we can pull it together soon. So I hear you with the house neglect!
I hope May 15th gets here before you know it.
Jen:
Really. Crapbag! I mean, come on, we can't go around calling you crapbag even if you think it matches how you feel. Hell if that were the case most of us would be called crapbag. I flipped off this lady when she wouldn't let me into her lane. I CANNOT believe I did that. I never do stuff like that. After I did it I started laughing because it was so ridiculous. Gotta love those hormones. And really, what can you do if you have enough progesterone in your system to tranquilize a horse!
Can you cut the b6 pills into 2???
Stephanie:
When you find something you like that is actually good for you go after it with gusto!
Carolyn:
I'm sure you are fine. With an aversion to chicken how can you not be pregnant? Everyone (who eats meat) can stomach chicken. It's like the blandest meat ever. Or at least can be. The fact is you're pregnant and stuck with it for a long while. So don't even think about ducking out on us =)
A gal posted that when she is pregnant she has an aversion to people and not food. She said certain people actually make her physically ill. She has had it with her previous pregnancy also. And they are people she normally likes or works with.
I just had to giggle! Can you just picture it??? Every time you are around your MIL (for ex.), you would have to find the closest bathroom?
Hey, you know we could use this to our advantage. Even if we don't have people aversions we could pretend that we do! Just pick someone you don't like.
"Excuse me, but I have people allergies with this pregnancy so you should know that I'll have to avoid you for at least the next 12 weeks."
How rude would that be! I like 99% of the people I work with but there is always one that gets under your skin. Oh if only I were that out of control. Who knows, maybe the progesterone and estrogen poisoning will get to one of us enough to pull this little idea out and use it!
That is really funny. But you know, I have developed an aversion to my favorite indie radio station. It makes me feel ill and even a bit foggy so I only listen to classical music in the car which I never have on usually.
Hoping everyone has a happy and quite Friday. I know I want one. Working on a day I normally don't have too. Talk about a huge tradegy! LOL
I'm super GRUMPY this morning. It was really hard getting up to be at work this morning normally I don't have to be here until 1 pm. This switch to 8 am. Very Hard!
Glad to hear everyone is going great! Have yourself a wonderful weekend.
I just had the best waffle in the whole world. On campus they have this little coffee shop and they serve some breakfast items. They make the best waffle. I don't even think I've tasted it. YUMMY~

I just saw the funniest post on another board.

Peggy, I think you are on to something! I can think of a few people this might work on!
Shannon, that is really funny about the music! And by the way, I wanted to wish you a very happy and wonderful ultrasound tomorrow.

Just had to check in with my homies before bed, ah who am I kidding, I'm hungry, that pillow will have to wait!
