Hi ladies,

Just checking in and seeing how everyone is doing. I'm very tired today and don't feel like working at all. My stomach also does not like me very much. It's flipping and flopping around. My day is just starting and I still have 7 hours left. I hate 2nd shift!!!!

I also had a pretty good weekend. Rob and I finially DTN! I feel like I'm in high school and telling all my girlfriends I'm no longer a virgin! LOL

I getter get back to work.

Have a great day!

You know Frenchy, there is an old wives tale that says if you have no desire for sex when you're pg, it's a girl!!!

OMG!!!!! I think the world is coming to an end!!!! I haven't felt like cleaning in like forever. I just do not have any energy. So, I made Rob help me yesterday. Which he did no problem. But when it came time to clean the kitchen, we both "gave" up. LOL. I told him I'll do it this morning before work, but I felt like crap all morning. My stomach was very sour and I didn't do it. Well, I just got a call from him stating "I'm cleaning the kitchen, but I'm not sure what to do with all the stuff on the table. Do you want me to try to go through it?" I told him not to because I have a method to my madness and I would do it tomorrow. I'm just suprised that he went ahead and started cleaning without me bugging him to do so. Normally that's what I've got to do. He was very spoiled as a child and his parent never had him do anything. This is a HUGE step. I'm so excited I could scream. AHHHHHHH!

Tara
I thought you had to wait till 10-11 weeks before hearing the h/b on doppler? Am I out of date? I was going to ask my OB about it at my first appointment at the end of May!

Thank you guys so much for checking up on me! I've been out of the chat for a while, but I think I am mostly caught up. :)

As I said in my post above, no real word except the typical "call us if anything changes" routine. I guess a week is not too long to wait, but with Mother's Day coming up and people constantly asking about the pregnancy, it's getting hard to avoid thinking about it. We had dinner with friends to celebrate the "good news" RIGHT after I found the spotting. I didn't know how to break it to a bunch of people who know nothing about pregnancy that I am spotting, but I'm sure they sensed my tension and anxiety.

I am feeling pretty pg, so I try to take some comfort in that. I laid on the couch exhausted most of the weekend and I've got my buttons undone on my pants as we speak. But as others have said in previous posts, with a missed m/c symptoms don't help much. The thing that freaks me out most is that after 10 weeks with no baby inside and hormones that were dropping, I still did not spot once. Yet this time I am!

Anyway, enough worry. I'm glad to hear everyone else is doing ok and that Tara's got an exciting u/s scheduled for Friday! Let me know how the doppler thing works out. My dr. absolutely forbid me to get one because she thinks it will make me more neurotic and because she said it's "dangerous." She rushed out of the room before I could follow up on that comment, but I have never read anything about it being dangerous online.

I love the names Jen-ay, both are really cute. And beware that when you start to tell people, they will find a reason to shoot down nearly every suggestion, so don't take it to heart. We have yet to talk about a name that someone didn't have a snide remark about. The funniest part is, we sent out a pic of the u/s and marked it "Baby Hartley Beane" because I kept my maiden name Hartley and his name is Beane. His coworkers and friends didn't realize that was my name, so they actually thought we had named the baby Hartley and thought that was a great name! People are so funny.
