Hi!

Amy - welcome to the group. When is your EDD? I feel like I am the only one between 6-7 wks! Anyone else out there so early still? My EDD is Jan 12.

Lisa - I'm sorry to hear that this month will be a tough one for you. We are all here for you if you need to "talk"... remember your angel is always with you in heart and spirit.... You will get through that day.... be strong and remember you will have a baby in your arms in the very near future...... I just know it!

Tara - I loved your belly pic, too cute !! I'll try to post mine at some point....

Sandra - I can relate because I get strong food aversions. I will either be starving but the sound of most foods gross me out, or I think I want something until I start eating and realize I can't stand it. Or I eat it happily and it makes me feel so crappy afterward that I can't eat it again. It's constant fun. :) But at 11 weeks it's slowing down for me at least, so there is hope.

The funniest part is, I actually ate pickles and ice cream for dinner the other day! I didn't realize how cliche that was until later, but it gave DH a good laugh. He also saw me making basically two lunches to get me through the afternoon at work (I'm starving all the time!). He said "Oh, that's such a pregnancy thing...how cute!" LOL

Good luck with everything and here's to hoping every day flies by! Having this group certainly helps make it easier!

Hugs,
Cassi

Hey Cass,

I love your pickles & ice cream story. I hate pickles, and when I was pregnant with my daughter, my dad said, "Ha, oh good, now that you're pregnant you'll be eating pickles and ice cream!" NEVER HAPPENED! Still don't like pickles. In fact, my love of ice cream decreased dramatically during my pregnancy, and I still don't crave it or want it as often as I used to. Weird how things like that work!

Have you heard the heartbeat yet? Did you try this last weekend?

I get hungry about every 3 hours, is that how you guys are too?

Jen-ay, the h/b sounded beautiful, thanks for posting!!!

Bex, so glad you're over the hard part. It's a good thing - no stressing allowed! P.S. Excited to see you this weekend!!!

Sandy, my EDD is 1/17, so we're pretty close! I was thinking I was the only early gal! Hopefully some of my fellow newbies will start posting here. :)

Cassi, LOL at your pickles and ice cream dinner! Pickles completely gross me out, but I hope you are enjoying it!

Jenn and Tara - LOL at you being hungry every 3 hours... or 3 minutes! My appetite is about the same, but if it's meal time I have to eat right that second, rather than waiting.

So, I had a couple teensy spotting scares. DH and I BD'd last week, and I was relieved there was no spotting afterwards. Last time I was pg, my doc said I had a very sensitive cervix - one that would bleed just by looking at it. She said it was no reason to worry, but I had spotting throughout (especially after BD'ing)

Amy,

I had pink spotting at about 6weeks.

Thanks, Jen. I was nervous about DTN, so at my first appt last week, I asked the doc. She said it was fine, but to not be surprised if I had spotting. Even though I was prepared to see it, it still freaked me out. Sorry DH, but DTN is not worth the stress/anxiety for me right now! I'm definitely trying to slow down, too. Like you said, I want to give my little bean the best possible environment to stick, baby, stick!
