I am still nauseousand by bb's are huge and sore but i also just started the unexplained fever again! what is up with that? Thaey always tell me its a virus but i dont feel sick and I just have a feeling something is not right. They did say my thyroid levels were low and it could be caused by autoimmune disorder they drew some more blood and I am still waiting on results. they told me medication can fix it i just hope its not too late and this mild fever goes away!! (((HUGS))) Its tough but we'll get through it ! I hope your antibiotics do the trick for you!

How excited is everyone about Jenn's BFP? Woop! Woop!

Carolyn, that's great you were able to tell your boss. Mine was such an amazing support during my m/c. She even called me from her vacation in Hawaii to check on me. She is now pg, and since our other friend at work is due the same day as me (after a m/c last year), we decided to tell my boss together. She is so excited, and it's nice to have her understanding and support while I'm trying to get past my milestones. I think you'll find you're glad you told! And my fingers are crossed that you hear the h/b tomorrow!!!

Tara, I vow to not allow the chat thread to die if we change to a weekly thread! I know the only reason I was able to jump in was because I already knew some of you ladies. Otherwise, it would have been pretty intimidating!

Sandy, yes, this will be my first time meeting Bex and Dina (from TTCAM). I mentioned on the TTCAM DYK thread that I was thinking of going to Phoenix on vacay, and they talked me into it. I'm so excited to meet them!!!

Sandy and Jen-ay, I'm so jealous that you haven't gained any weight! I gained weight before my last pg while TTC, then since I went 3+ months I gained weight, then I gained some holiday/mourning weight... and it never came off despite eating better. So I'm not off to the best start! The "girls" are already popping out of my bra, and my pants are a little snug. I even unbuttoned my jeans on the drive in to work today!

Shannon, I'm wishing you all the strength and patience to make it through this difficult week. I hope you find out what's going on soon to put your mind at ease. I'm thinking of you and sending you big ((((((HUGS)))))).

Steph, could you be feeling "off" because it might be twins?! I'm still so PO'd that they won't let you have the u/s!

Had my first weird craving this morning. Wonderbread! Don't know where it came from, considering I don't buy it, and I've only had it maybe 5x in my life. I haven't bought any yet, but we'll see if I stop on the way home tonight!

Amy: Wonderbread? I wish I had some interesting cravings, I guess that will come in time. Instead I just try to eat anything that I don't have to cook =)

Shannon: Tons of luck and positive vibes as you move through this emotionally rocky bit of your pregnancy. After the spotting I had I have renewed compassion for things like spotting and the personal milestones etc. We PAL girls get dragged through the mud so much. Your mud bogging is done though. Other then delivery I guess. None of us can avoid that =)

Hi Steph
I have no idea what the fever is about. The doctor said it could be any mild virus and most of us wouldn't notice it (mine was only 99.5) but I recall reading somewhere that reproductive immunologists have "unexplained fever" before miscarriage as one of the signs of a immune reaction to pregnancy. Ugh. Because I have had no explanation for my losses I keep freaking out and thinking that is what it is!

Anyway, I called my OB's nurse and said I was really anxious about coming in and she suggested we make my u/s first and then follow-up with the nurse/introduction and the OB meeting. That way I don't have to wait through 45 minutes of new-pregnancy registration to find out what is going on.

Deep breaths!

Shannon

With all the progesterone in the pregnancy body I thought our temps were naturally higher. You know the temp shift that occurs after ovulation? Your temp should remain high throughout pregnancy. So maybe you only have a tinnie-tiny fever?
