Yeah Melanie! I was so glad to see you here - I was just going to email you and see if everything was ok. Nine weeks is a long time to wait, definitely see if they can bump it up. It never hurts to call and say "If there is a cancellation can you put me in?" Or you can take my aunt-in-law's approach and lie about spotting to get an u/s right away! (evil evil woman)
Tara - I can totally relate to the beotch thing. I have been a horrible person on and off since I got pg, but yesterday I took it out on my poor DH because he turned on a show about babies and kids dying in the Holocaust! It's true it was not what I needed to see, but I was way too hard on him. I felt so bad today I bought him an "I'm Sorry I'm a Nut Case" card and some candy.
On the other hand, maybe he should feel lucky because I'm putting out!! LOL I guess since I never spotted my first pg and still lost the baby, I haven't really been worried too much about it. I am more worried about seeing an empty screen on Monday.
And finally, I have to say I'm with Jen on the names thing. My DH is Robert Lee Beane III and as much as we'd like to continue the tradition and make a IV, we are out of nicknames since #1 is Bob, #2 is Rob and DH is Robbie. So we agreed on Toby instead. For a girl, DH does the same thing as the rest of the DHs - either ridicules my suggestions or has some horrible association with everything. We finally narrowed it down to Tabitha, Georgie (Georgia is a family name) or Aibhlinn (an Irish name pronounced Ave-leen. It means "wished for or longed for child" which I thought was extremely appropriate)
I followed you all over here from the TTCAM boards also. I have been a horrible lurker for quite some time. I know....you all hate me for it! But, I too am so superstitious but would never admit it outloud. I thought that if I posted, that would just mean another miscarriage for me. Not too smart, huh? LOL
Here is my scoop, I am a 37yr old WAHM, my DH is 40 and my DS just turned 3. It was so easy with my son that we thought the second time would be easy too. We have been ttc'ing for almost 2 years and have had two m/c. I am now 6 wk preggo and have an ultrasound next wed. Blookwork is great, but it always has been. I am so scared to go in and see an empty sac or that something is not right. I check the tp every time I go to the bathroom and probably will until I deliver (cross my fingers).
You gals have been wonderful support to me. Thank you all so much. I just had to cross over that line and jump in and say how much all your advice has meant to a freaked out chick like me. Most of my friends take pregancy for granted and just don't have any idea what the fears are for those of us that have had the innocense taken away.
I hope you are all having a better day then myself. 1st I have a question: Has anyone who has been taking the progesterone suppositories have any vaginal itching with out discharge or odor?
Today I have been dealing with the pains of pregnancy! Now don't get me wrong I am enjoying every minute, but I have been so exhausted, a bad headache all day, my m/s has been all day sickness, my boobs hurt, my back hurts and I cry every day! Oh and my belly what is going on at 8 weeks!! OH MY GOD I already look like I am 5 months!! I guess with two everything multiplies!!
Hopefully my day will be better tomorrow, thanks for listing to me!!

Hey, does anyone remember Carly/cdenette? I think she was on TTCAM and was doing IVF.
She posted yesterday on the Dec EC and is pregnant with FOUR babies!! OMG. No wonder she has bad m/s:
