Jen-Ay and Frenchie- I didn't really have any symptoms until the end of my fifth week and really into my sixth. Even then, they would come and go. I was freaking out about it (as I tend to do with everything), but it was fine. Even now, I had 3 days this week feeling great, and then yesterday the nausea was back. It just seems like symptoms can come and go, and I think that is OK. Please try not to worry!

Bex- Do tell me more about this cinnamon tea! I actually had been good the past 2 days about drinking ice water, but now I'm tired of it :) Oh, and no, I didn't get to go shopping. I really need to because I was struggling yesterday to put on an outfit that didn't make me look fat (well, I didnt' really succeed at that). Maybe today. I just got too busy with work to go yesterday.

I have a very mild sore throat this morning (although it's feeling better now), so I'm wondering if I'm getting DH's cold. It doesn't seem to have been very bad for him, so hopefully it won't for me either. It's perfect timing for me to be sick all weekend :|

So Lisa, I have to ask if you had any indication that you had twins before the u/s? Really high HCG #s? Lots of symptoms? Showing early?

I know I should be focused on getting one healthy one through it and not worrying about if there's two, but my mom predicted I would get pg w/ a Dec. baby and she is also convinced it's twin boys! Now that she's been right once, I can't get the thought out of my head (darn mothers anyway)

To make matters worse, I am only 6 1/2 weeks, but I already have a bulge that's as big or even bigger than my bulge at 10 weeks when I lost my first pg. The first time, my DH never acknowledged my bulge no matter how much I tried to convince him. But now he said "You have a pooch!" and he keeps rubbing it. I even took pics of it and sent them to my mom and sister, who also agreed it was very noticeable (I am pretty thin and can usually suck in my stomach completely).

Anyway, just wondered if you had any thoughts on this. I am sure I am being crazy, but since my sister lost twins and twins run on both sides of my family, I can't help but be curious!

Good luck with the itchies. :)

Tara said she thinks of "Lambchop" every time she sees my siggie, and it rapidly caught on. It's going to be a funny nickname when I change my siggie later on ;)

Morning everyone,
I'm having pineapple for breakfast which is an indication of my weird appetites. Pineapple just seemed perfect.

To weigh in on the symptoms thread - I have had 4 pregnancies (this is the 5th)... but nausea has only set in around 7 weeks each time (not in the one loss, actually) so I am not really worried about that till 6-7 weeks. The other ones... tender bbs, tiredness and mild cramping have been the most common and even those come and go.

So, good luck everyone and reassurances all round.

I am also on progesterone "just in case".

Good Morning to everybody!

Jen-Ay, I have absolutely no symptoms. I am not getting up to pee at night, I not feeling tired and I have had only a little sore bb's, not at all today. I wish I were feeling more pregnant. And my bloodwork was really good too. So, I am there with you! I think my orginal u/s was at the same time and date as yours 4/27 at 1:00. Now it has been moved to Wed 4/26.

DH and I are heading off for a weekend away this weekend. I am not sure how I am going to keep my mind off the upcoming ultrasound. My SL is keeping my DS (3) for us. We have taken her kids for them many times. This thing has been planned for months. I just found out she is hiring a babysitter for Sat. and having my Sis take him on Sun. because they have plans. I think I would rather take him with us then have him farmed out the whole time. Does this seem strange to anyone else? Or is it the hormones.
