So they confirmed that yes indeed I am pregnant (like I didn't already know that after 5 POAS but at least that fear about it not showing up didn't happen). Due date 12/17-12/19 pretty much what I calculated (yes they actually gave me a range). Even though my tests at home have been quite faint, theirs was okay. Dr. said they would hav noted it on the lab sheet if it had been faint. They also did a beta test but I don't have the numbers back from that yet. Second beta on Thursday and an Ultrasound next Monday. I'll be 6 weeks 1 day for the ultrasound so I'm hoping that it's not too early too see the heartbeat but otherwise they were pretty much booked out into May for appointments. My first OB appointment is May 22nd but she won't make me have all the internal exams done sicne we just did that in January.
SO I guess it went but it does make the whole more real and thus more scary. I've kinda just been denying it. I was so happy and excited last time but things didn't work out. I feel like I'm cheating baby because I can't say I'm excited yet. Just plain scared. My doctor was very good about understanding where I was coming from. (She lost 2 babies from a triplet pregnancy). So I'm hoping that the ultrasound will go well and that baby will be just fine. I guess I'm glad it's not that far away. I'll post back when I get the numbers.

Stephanie,
I am so happy to hear that your appt. went so well!! It does seem so much more real when you finally see the doctor.

I am sure 6 weeks will be fine! I hope you get reassuring results back and got through the first step of an official in-office HPT+.
Congratulations!
Shannon
It always helps to hear it again. :)
Our u/s are the same day - what time is yours? Mine is 2:40pm ET. I'll be thinking of you and sending you lots of GL and SBVS!

Loving my September Sapphires Chase & Brynn...
My U/S is at 10:30 Central so if I'm on the ball with the kids school day (I homeschool and try very hard not to hit the computer until school is done because otherwise sometimes school won't happen) I might even get to post an update before you go to yours. I just have to say I smile everytime I see a post from you since you have the same name as my daughter but we put on E on the end.

Well the good news is that I only have one more POAS in the house. And I managed to resist the urge to use it this morning since I have been testing every two days thus far. Of course I was pretty sure I could convince my doctor to do the beta testing and she was actually the one who brought it up. It's nice to here that others have had those faint lines and still had a healthy pregnancy. I can't wait till the next few months are over. Even though I am one of those weird people who never really liked the way it felt when baby was moving, at least it was reassuring. Are you feeling baby yet? With my first I didn't feel anything till 23 weeks and with my 3rd it was 14 weeks.

I am going to send you all the calming vibes I can!

Definitely post as soon as you can! I will probably be on this board all day since I won't be able to focus on anything else at work. :)
Is your daughter short for Cassandra or Cassidy? Mine is Cassandra, although I wish my mom hadn't been so original and left the "e" on because EVERYONE spells it wrong no matter how many times I fix it! You must have excellent taste because I love my name - mainly for the fact that it's unusual. I am so obsessed with not picking common names now, we have eliminated tons of names from our possibility lists just because they ranked too high on the popularity scale. LOL
How old is your daughter?
Lots of luck Monday,
Cassi
