I sware it is just so hard to get really excited when it is so scary and out of our control... Hi Jenn,

I think I would buy the bigger capris because you will also need those after delivery! Where are you in the NW? I will be moving to the Tacoma area in early July! Would love to meet up with you!

I tried to buy stuff a size larger at first, but the problem was that I was bigger in the stomach, but not everywhere else, so the bigger pants looked really baggy.

Jenn,

I made the great mistake of buying a pair of pants in a larger size, because for me, they never fit comfortably when I started to show, they just looked funny. I bought a pair of the 0-6 month jeans from Old Navy and I LOVED them, they fit really well till about 6 months. I would go for that. I think I have seen the ones you are talking about and they are really cute. Hope that helps.

Jenn,

I too would go for the Old Navy Capri's. I think I have seen those and they are really cute. And I agree with the others, buy the size that fits now. I made the mistake of following advice of buying bigger and didn't fit into them until I was 8 months!

I am in Oregon and it is suppose to be really warm the next few days. I put on a pair of last springs Capri's this morning and they are tight!

Jenn, I say the Old Navy ones. I have 2 pair of real waist Old Navy pants that fit great and I wear all the time. Go for it! :)

If you feel hopeful I'd buy whatever makes you happy. I am still in the complete denial stage. I wish I wasn't but for me its baggy dresses, hipsters, whatever gets me through the first trimester before I will even look a maternity clothes or baby anything. Friends who know I am TTC (but not pregnant) sometimes offer me their maternity stuff when they're spring cleaning and I try to decline politely.

And I'm in Seattle btw! My MIL lives in Longview, WA. This weekend we drive to Spokane...
