Finally talked to the doctor

Sorry for kinda being out of the loop. Morning sickness set in with a vengence Wednesday and I've accomplished almost nothing since. My doctor has me taking B-6 and unisom but it's not helping much anymore and it's making it hard for me to think straight (or maybe that's a result of my excessive fatigue). The other day I checked the refrigerator right before bed to make sure I left my husband's lunch for the next day where he could find it. The next day he calls me from work and wanted to know if there was a reason I had set his lunch on the counter (and consequently left out all night long). I have no memory of doing that. I've been sleeping about 10-11 hours every night and then I need two (not just one but TWO) naps just to get through the day. I have no idea how you who are working can function because my brain seemed to have checked out two days ago. So I asked my doctor to call me in a prescription for Zophran but I won't be able to start it till tonight because I'm too tired to drive over and get it. She said insurance may not cover it and it's super expensive (3 years ago it was about $25 a pill and I had to take it twice a day). So I really hope insurance will cover some but I don't have much choice, I'm having hard time with anything but fruit and even then my stomach is rolling. Getting my vitamins in each day is seriously becoming a chore.
On a more postive note from my ultrasound on Monday, baby was measuring 5.9 weeks and I was 6 weeks when then did the ultrasound. They noted the heartrate was a little slow but since the heart isn't usually viable until 6 weeks that wasn't necessarily bad but just in case she went ahead and ordered my another one which will be 5/11.
I've been trying to check in a see how everyones appointments are going but I haven't been up to posting much but I'm glad to see everyone is doing well so far. I'm sorry about the two have had to leave already and hope that no one else will have to join them.
Hopefully once I get going on the Zophran I will feel better and be more active on the board but for now I'm off to take my second nap.
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,
I am so sorry that m/s is impairing your whole day. It is great that modern medicine exists and that there is hope with the medication prescribed for you.
Take a few naps for me and I hope you are feeling better soon. I am thinking of you.
Deb
