Molly,

It is normal to lose some weight in the first tri.

I lost a couple of pounds. Maybe 3. I'm not eating as much and what I do eat isn't as junky as it used to be. And I too am nauseous more than I'm not. I'm trying to figure out what will keep it under control.

I'm not worried though. The Girlfriend's guide to pregnancy book says that some women gain and some women lose wait in the first tri. It goes on to say that in the end it all evens out. We are all going to get fat =)

I guess just try to eat healthy foods when you do eat and be happy that you'll have an extra day in your pre-pregnancy clothes.

Edited to add: Even though I lost 3 pounds, my body shape is still slightly changing. My pants are a little snug but less snug then they would be had I not lost some weight. And I'm sure I'll put those 3 pounds and then some on very very soon.

Don't fret! I lost weight w/ DS and with this pregnancy. A lot of it had to do with eating smaller meals, and a little had to do with loss of muscle mass since I wasn't working out like I used to. There is nothing to worry about at all.....With DS, between what I lost and what I eventually gained, I only gained 8lbs and the dr. was fine with that (I had a just little meat on me that I could spare). When you get into your 2nd - and especially your 3rd - trimester, you will start eating more and it will all even out!

GL!
